Accused murderer explains he killed six people because he’s Jesus Christ

James “Dimitrious” Gargasoulas is being accused of murder, however, the defense he’s giving is a new one. Gargasoulas explained that he needed to kill people to prove that he’s Jesus Christ.

According to 9News, Gargasoulas allegedly murdered six people, including two children.

He was attempting to murder another person after the 2017 Bourke Street rampage, he said, because he wanted to distract police. With police distracted, he thought he could then reach Australian Aboriginal royalty and explain to them that he is the second coming of Christ.

He was evaluated by psychiatrist Lester Walton, who said Wednesday during the hearing that the man is suffering from delusions and schizophrenia.

“He has cosmological, Aboriginal and religious beliefs that he is the messiah and it’s all mixed up together,” he explained to the jury. “He has said straightforwardly to me that he is the messiah.”
The 28-year-old man is facing his investigation hearing this week in Australia’s Victorian Supreme Court.

Following Rudy Giuliani's extraordinary appearance on CNN on Thursday night, where he may have admitted the commission of a crime, the hosts of CNN's "New Day" compiled a timeline linking the approximate date of Trump's phone call that was flagged by a whistleblower to subsequent events involving Ukraine.

According to the timeline, presented by hosts John Berman and Alisyn Camerota, Trump spoke with the president of Ukraine on July 25, with Giuliani meeting with him later that month.

What followed was the August 12 whistleblower complaint and then Trump blocking aide to Ukraine by the end of the month.
