Judiciary Committee member Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) on Monday said that Dr. Christine Ford will be able to testify in public.
“There will be a full opportunity for the accuser and the accused to be heard - in public," he said.
Sen. Kennedy had just left the office of Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
"Senate Judiciary will hold a hearing with both Professor Ford and Kavanaugh on Monday," New York Times congressional correspondent Nicholas Fandos reports.
"This Thursday’s committee vote has been postponed, according to a Republican briefed on the plans," Fandos added.
