According to a report from TMZ, police authorities in New York City are declining to prosecute a white nationalist fan of Donald Trump who had been trolling CNN's Don Lemon before issuing a racist death threat saying he planned to stab the television host.

The report states that the Manhattan D.A.'s office has declined to press charges against the unidentified man, saying that prosecution wouldn't be worth it.

Last October Lemon informed the police that he had received the threat from the unidentified man who described himself as a "white nationalist conservative . pro-gun anti islam anti terrorist anti leftist yes i HATE demorats, blm, antifa ,socialists. heavily armed racist.WLM," in his Twitter bio.

At issue were tweets that read, “f*ck you n*gger can’t wait to stab your neck” and “U r a pile of rotting dogshit, racist, communist, socialist, Liberal moron asshole, i will find u U will pay. i’ll see u real soon.”

According to the report, police authorities reached out to Lemon two weeks ago to inform him they would not proceed with criminal charges.
