Trump-loving pro-Confederate candidate goes down in flames — and his campaign party is already dead

Corey Stewart, the Trump-endorsed Virginia Senate candidate who has championed keeping Confederate monuments on public property, has already been projected to lose his race against Democratic incumbent Tim Kaine.

Polls in Virginia closed at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday — and Kaine was projected as the race’s winner just seconds later.

Although Stewart was widely expected to lose the race against Kaine, the sheer speed at which the race was called indicates that it was a blowout of epic proportions.

William Steakin, a Congressional reporter for the Independent Journal Review, is attending Stewart’s election night party and he reports that there is almost no one there, as seen in the photo below.

What’s even more humiliating for Stewart, reports Steakin, is that the televisions in the restaurant have for some reason been tuned to the progressive “Young Turks” election coverage.

On the plus side, however, Steakin also reports that the chicken wings in the restaurant “are great.”
