Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Wednesday was sent home from the hospital to recuperate after undergoing surgery to remove two cancerous nodules on her left lung.

Kathy Arberg, public information officer for the Supreme Court, confirmed that Ginsburg was sent home from the hospital in an email to CNN on Wednesday morning.

Doctors say that Ginsburg has no remaining signs of disease now that the nodules have been removed from her lung.

The 85-year-old Ginsburg underwent surgery to remove the nodules last Friday.
