A Trump administration official leaked information about Attorney General Bill Barr's expected plans on the release of information from special counsel Robert Mueller's report to Fox News.
According to "an administration official familiar with the process," Barr may release the main conclusions of Mueller's report between three and five PM EST on Saturday, Fox News reported.
“The Attorney General wants to get this out tonight," the source said. “It will hit what is on everyone’s minds — no parsing of words, no games."
Fox's source also noted that there may be some "procedural hurdles" to getting the information out.
After Fox News reported the soft deadline, the New York Times and other outlets noted that a Justice Department official had advised that it would be at least another day until Barr made any part of the Mueller report public.
