On Wednesday, legal analyst Jeffery Toobin called out Attorney General Bill Barr for conforming his behaviors to solely please President Donald Trump.

During a Congressional hearing, Barr said that Trump's campaign was spied on but offered little evidence and clarification to what he meant. His comments were seen as nothing more than a public relations stunt by some.

"What is he suggesting?" CNN's Wolf Blitzer asked.

"Bill Barr is a classic demonstration of what's happened to the Republican Party," Toobin said. "He used to be an establishment figure. Now it's a Fox News party."

"You saw this in his confirmation hearing, talking about Uranium One, all these fantasies about Hillary Clinton's wrongdoing. This is how he talks now because he is part of that party now. And that party thinks the FBI, the CIA, everybody is conspiring to get Donald Trump, and they now have their attorney general," he explained.

"The attorney general of the United States in a dog whistle to Sean Hannity, and that is a big deal," he said.
