Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) has published a new children's book warning of the dangers of "cancel culture."
The Texas Republican said Brave Books approached him about the project, titled"Fame, Blame, and the Raft of Shame," which is the fourth in a series by conservative authors to counter social justice lessons children might learn in schools, reported Fox News.
"You've got reach all audiences," Crenshaw told the network. "Parents are increasingly frustrated by their school's curriculum. They can go find left-wing progressive and woke children's books out there. It's pretty hard to find exclusively conservative-themed children's products."
Brave Books offers one book per month for an annual subscription, and previous authors have included Elizabeth Johnson, Jack Posobiec and Ashley St. Clair.
"I think conservatives wrongly view cancel culture as a very simple question of either being able to say whatever the hell you want or being silenced," Crenshaw said. "It is not that simple, and I wanted to craft this story that kind of exposes the nuance of what we mean by cancel culture."
