MAGA rioter who echoed sovereign citizen talking points now says she's 'learned the error' of her ways

Pauline Bauer, a self-proclaimed "sovereign citizen" who was jailed ahead of trial for her involvement in the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, seems to be having a slight change of heart, according to NBC4 reporter Scott MacFarlane.

Bauer, a restaurant owner from Pennsylvania, is accused of shouting "Bring Nancy Pelosi out here now. We want to hang that f*cking b*tch. Bring her out," while storming the Capitol.

She was kept in jail pre-trial due to her outbursts in court, where she claimed that the court has "no dominion over a living soul," and that she as "a right to my self-determination!"

But in a letter to the court this Monday, Bauer says she's "learned the error of my ways and will agree to adhere to the conditions of release."

"I apologize for any misstatements before the court and realize that I cannot defend my case from a jail cell," she wrote.
