ORLANDO, Fla. — Joel Greenberg, a former Florida tax official, and U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., on at least one occasion several years ago were recorded together entering the Seminole County Tax Collector’s Office when it was closed on a weekend night, according to a person familiar with office operations who saw the videotape. The person said the footage showed Greenberg and Gaetz walking into the tax collector’s Lake Mary office on Primera Drive. Greenberg was seen going through baskets where driver’s licenses, turned in by residents for disposal, were stored and later went into a back room...
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) was caught on camera bragging that he "led the objections" on January 6 to try to overturn a free and fair election. Cruz has been highlighted, along with U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO), as the top leaders who "amplified claims of election fraud" that "resulted in threats of violence against state and local officials around the country," according to an ethics complaint filed by seven Democratic Senators.
Lauren Windsor, who describes herself as an undercover reporter for The Undercurrent and runs a site dedicated to helping victims of Project Veritas, pretended to be a far right wing voter and asked Senator Cruz why he "didn't do more to fight for President Trump on January 6."
Cruz on camera brags that he "led the objections but the Senate voted it down."
"But you could have done more," she tells the Texas Republican. "I mean, we all know that Joe Biden didn't win this election. I know in my heart of hearts that Joe Biden did not win."
Cruz repeats himself, saying "I led the fight," but does not at any time say that President Joe Biden won the election or that he is legitimately the President. Instead he blames the other Senators for him not having "the votes."
Windsor moves on, asking Cruz what he's "going to do to stop Big Tech from silencing conservatives," a fake claim by the right that is proven false daily here. "Big Tech" sites like Facebook ignore their own rules and terms of service and give preferential treatment that "favors low-quality, far-right content" while strangling liberal news sites.
Cruz gets saved by his handler, who tries to move her along. He insists he's "gotta take pictures" but she's not ready to let him go.
"Are you going to stop Facebook and Twitter from canceling conservatives?" she asks.
"I'm leading the fight every day, OK?" Cruz, hand on his heart, replies.

The host of HBO's "Real Time" on Friday blasted Republicans for sex, drugs, and Rock and Roll.
"And finally, new rule, Republicans can't spend decades chastising liberals for being too permissive about sex and drugs and then be completely silent about Matt Gaetz," Maher declared.
The host read a quote from CNN.
"The partygoers, at times dressed in formal wear from a political event they'd just left, mingled and shared drugs like cocaine and ecstasy. Some had sex," CNN reported.
"Okay, wild hotel suite parties? That's our thing," he said. "Democrats are the party of free love, fun, and forgetting where you parked your car."
"Republicans can not be the conservative, stick-up-your-*ss party and then take our drugs and f*ck our women," he complained. "American government looks best like a mullet: Republicans do business in the front and Democrats party in the back."
"JFK used to have nude pool parties in the White House. Now the politician who comes closest to carrying on that legacy is Matt Gaetz? No," he said.
"You could always count on Republicans to be the fuddy duddies, the wet-blankets, the boors, they were the Moral Majority," he said. "If it was fun, Republicans were against it. The got apoplectic over Clinton getting a bl*wjob, they invented abstinence-only sex education, Mitt Romney has never seen himself naked."

Longtime GOP adman and Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson blasted Republicans on HBO's "Real Time" on Friday.
"One party -- I"m sorry -- is a policy party," host Bill Maher said. "They're wonks."
"And one party is trolls. Would you agree with that?" Maher asked. "Trolls and wonks."
"The party I helped build over 30 years has become a bunch of people who want to be transgressive, they want to get out, swing their d*cks around and have people yell at them and scream, 'You're cancelling me for burning the house down!' While they're burning the house, for the most part," Wilson said. "Joe Biden is doing a good job in part because Joe Biden doesn't get up in the morning and think, 'How am I going to set the world on fire by tweeting some crazy sh*t?'"
The panel, which included Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), discussed GOP efforts to oust Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) from her leadership position and seat in Congress.
"She represents, Bill, something so dangerous to them," Wilson said. "Because , to be a supporter of the Republican Party, you're all in on the myth that Trump won the election. You're all in on the lies that support it, you have to build a scaffolding of lies every day. Like the pyramid of bullsh*t has to get taller and taller."
"And [Liz Cheney] won't do it, she just won't do it," he said. "As someone who knows the Cheneys, these people -- they don't f*ck around, they're serious people."
