Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) can expect to have over $15,000 missing from her salary this year after being hit with fines for refusing to wear a mask in the U.S. House of Representatives.
In a statement on Monday, the House Ethics Committee explained that Greene had racked up four additional fines.
The House Sergeant at Arms notified the committee of the fines, which occurred on Sept. 22, 27 and 28. Greene received two fines on Sept. 28, the statement said.
Greene has previously received at least three fines for refusing to wear a mask on the House floor.
The lawmaker faces a $500 fine for her first violation and an additional $2,500 for each subsequent offense.
