Brussels- The European Commission on Tuesday said it would postpone a key report on Bulgaria's and Romania's EU accession date and conditions due out next week by more than a month. The commission will also delay the publication date of its assessment on Turkey's development on the path to EU membership, a commission spokeswoman told reporters, without elaborating on the reasons for the postponement....
She only said that the EU executive had changed its timetable, shifting the publication date for the report on Bulgaria and Romania from September 26 to November 8.
The commission's assessment on the two countries' progress in preparing for EU accession will recommend the terms and conditions of Bulgaria's and Romania's EU entry scheduled for next January.
