During a closed door luncheon at the G8 Summit, a table microphone accidentally caught candid remarks between President Bush and Tony Blair.

Bush didn't pause to chew his food as he said to Tony Blair, "What [the United Nations] need to do is to get Syria to stop Hezbollah from doing this shit."

The American President indicated that he was frustrated with the United Nations for not doing more to mitigate the crisis, saying, "I felt like telling Kofi to get on the phone with [Syrian President] Assad and make something happen."
