NEW YORK — A woman lost control of her car and struck six people, including two young girls, in Manhattan on Wednesday, according to police. The driver was near the corner of West 190th Street and Broadway in Washington Heights when she mounted the sidewalk outside R.G. Ortiz Funeral Home around 6:10 p.m., cops said. She slammed into the 3-year-old girls, three women and a man before she got out of the car and took off on foot, they added. The driver quickly changed her mind and returned to the crash site.
