Every living former American president is appearing in ads encouraging Americans to get vaccinated against the novel coronavirus -- with one glaring exception.
NBC News reports that a new ad spot shows former presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, as well as former first ladies Rosalynn Carter, Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush and Michelle Obama, being vaccinated as a way to promote vaccinations.
The former presidents featured in the ad assure Americans that the COVID vaccines are safe and effective, and encourage Americans to get their shots to get life back to normal.
In contrast, NBC News reports, "Clinton, Bush and Obama were quietly vaccinated weeks ago and offered the images for the campaign facilitated by the Ad Council, an organization that coordinates public service announcements, and the COVID Collaborative, a group of health, education and economic experts."
