Texas refinery fire sends multiple workers to hospital aboard Life Flights: report

Multiple workers were sent to the hospital after an overnight fire at a Baytown, Texas refinery.

"According to ExxonMobil, four people were injured in the fire, which started at around 1 a.m. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said three of the injured workers were taken to the hospital by Life Flight. One other was taken by ground ambulance," KHOU-TV reports. "We're told it happened in the part of the refinery that produces gasoline. While employees have evacuated that section, the rest of the plant is still in operation."

ExxonMobil says all of the hospitalized employees are in stable condition.

The company released a statement saying it is "cooperating with regulatory agencies."
