Using the wall-to-wall coverage dedicated to the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, a younger brother of King Charles III, related to his ties to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, MS NOW contributor Pablo Torre claimed the White House has a major problem if they think the Epstein crisis is going to wither away.
During an appearance on “Morning Joe,” Torre held up the front pages of the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post, both featuring blaring Andrew headlines and both Rupert Murdoch papers, to illustrate the scope of seriousness playing out in the press.
Going on an extended rant, he aimed his comments at Donald Trump’s White House and demanded, “You think, is that something that we can opt out of? And so far, that's the strategy. What if we just close our eyes and pretend that this isn't us?”
“And you look at the photographs –– by the way, this is a whole story about photographs,” he observed. “Prince Andrew is not some ancillary side character. Look at the other photographs. There he is in the late 90’s and early 2000 with the president, with his wife, with the president's wife at Mar-a-Lago, in England, right?”
“The president has previously said ‘I don't know him,’ right?” he continued. “And so this is the thing they're trying to deny. And the through-line in all of these things, around affordability in the Epstein files is what if we just tell people, like we're a bad hypnotist, you know, waving the pocket watch, you know, ‘You are getting sleepy, you are getting richer. This isn't us.’ And it's an insane strategy when you have the evidence right in front of you.”
