Northern California man exposes himself to woman just minutes after registering as a sex offender
Within mere minutes of registering as a sex offender, a Northern California man was back behind bars after allegedly exposing himself in public.
Esteban Rocha, 51, went to Placerville police just before noon on Tuesday and by the end of lunchtime was back in handcuffs and accused of exposing himself to a woman less than a mile from the police station, the Sacramento Bee reports.
According to a press release, Placerville police got a 911 call that a person matching Rocha’s description “was exposing himself to a woman in the 1300 block of Broadway Drive.”
Rocha was booked on parole violation and suspicion of indecent exposure at the county jail.
According to the Megan’s Law sex offender database, Rocha has a rap sheet that includes molesting a child under 14 years of age, “annoying” or molesting a child under 18, and indecent exposure.
