Dana Bash slams Trump’s feud with Connecticut Senator: ‘Kids in high school act more mature’
CNN’s Dana Bash called out President Donald Trump’s latest word sparring with Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal during a Thursday segment, arguing, “I think kids in high school act more mature and in the realm of reality.”
The feud started on Wednesday, when Blumenthal said Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Neil Gorsuch called the president’s Twitter attacks on a federal judge “disheartening” and “demoralizing.” Trump responded with accusations that Blumenthal was lying about Gorsuch’s comments.
“It’s more like … maybe my kindergartner,” said Bash. She added, “It’s hard to believe that were talking about the United States government, the president of the United States, the person he wants to be in the Supreme Court.”
“You have all three branches of government part of this soap opera that is not even made for people who are even remotely adult,” Bash said.
