Stephen Colbert's Late Show was off on Monday night for Columbus Day, but that didn't keep the host from checking in to talk about Sunday night's presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
Reporting form his home, Colbert touched on Trump's infamous, and so-called, "locker room talk" with Today show host Billy Bush about grabbing a woman's "p*ssy,"
Colbert quipped, "It was a really disturbing week. Especially for parents who had to sit down and explain to their kids who Billy Bush was."
Colbert then took notes of Trump's incessant sniffing that also plagued the GOP presidential nominee during the first debate.
Showing a supercut, made up entirely of Trump sniffling, Colbert remarked, "Unlike the first debate when the two candidates met, there was no hand shake. In Hillary Clinton's defense, she doesn't know where that hand has been. Trump immediately doubled down in his most memorable moments from his first debate. [the sniffing clip] Okay, so they clearly changed Trump's debate prep. He seems to be on much stronger coke this time."
Discussing Hillary Clinton quoting Michelle Obama by saying, "When they go low, you go high," Colbert offered up a suggestion.
"I don't know. If I thought Trump going low, I would cover my crotch."
