Texas high school student takes her own life after shooting and wounding fellow student

One person is dead after a shooting at the Alpine High School in Southwestern Texas.

The New York Daily News reports that a female student shot and wounded another female student at the high school, before apparently turning the gun on herself and taking her own life.

Alpine High School was evacuated in the wake of the shooting, and the entire school district went on lockdown.
