AG Barr slammed for disapproval of Mueller testifying to Congress: ‘You don’t get personal opinions’

On Thursday, former Homeland Security official Juliette Kayyem ripped Attorney General Bill Barr for suggesting that his personal opinions have value during his Senate hearing.

President Donald Trump said that he will not allow former White House counsel Don McGahn to testify.

"Do you think they will win?" CNN's host Erin Burnett asked.

Kayyem explained that it's "exhausting" how Trump is trying to delay everything.

"They’ve already waived any privilege McGahn would have. It sounds like their legal argument is there’s a difference between an investigation in terms of having to go in front of Congress and the waiver," she said.

"I think we will hear from McGahn. This is consistent with everything that has happened since we’ve learned that Mueller sent the document, sent the volumes over to Barr, which is you are just going to delay every little thing. It’s exhausting, of course, but you’re going to delay everything."
