‘Gasps’ heard during Ahmaud Arbery trial as prosecution shows footage of shooting: CNN reporter

This Friday, prosectors and defense attorneys gave their opening statements in the trial over the killing of Ahmaud Arbery, a Black man who was jogging though a Georgia neighborhood before being confronted and chased down by two white men.
According to a report from CNN, there was at least one emotional moment when the prosecution showed a longer version of the cellphone video that shows when father and son Greg and Travis McMichael chased down Arbery and blocked off his escape before Travis McMichael shot and killed him with a shotgun.
Arbery's mother, Wanda Cooper Jones, had never seen the longer version of the video, but nevertheless decided to watch it along with everyone else in the courtroom. According to CNN's report, "audible gasps" could be heard in the courtroom as the video played. Jones' sobbing could also be heard.
Jones reportedly later said that she wanted to be strong and watch the entire video and see the last moments of her son's life.
