A white supremacist who threw Molotov cocktails at an Ohio church that was hosting a drag-queen story hour event has pleaded guilty Monday to a federal hate crime charge, Cleveland.com reported.
Aimenn Penny, 20, faces at least 10 years in prison when he's sentenced in January.
“Actions like this need to have consequences,” Community Church of Chesterland Rev. Jess Peacock said. “There needs to be a cooling effect to anyone who may want to burn down a church or a mosque or a synagogue.”

A large neo-Nazi group that included Penny showed up at the event in March and yelled homophobic slurs with chants of “Heil Hitler," according to Cleveland.com's report.
Penny told FBI agents that he threw the Molotov cocktails because he wanted to "protect children."

During a search of Penny's home, agents found Nazi memorabilia, a gas mask and gas cans, along with a hand-written manifesto that included "ideological statements."
