President Donald Trump's signature legislative initiative has reportedly reached the "history books" for how unpopular it is.
CNN data analyst Harry Enten appeared on the network Sunday to discuss five separate polls showing Trump's so-called "big, beautiful" bill with unprecedented levels of rejection from Americans.
Enten boldly stated that people think the bill is "awful."
"They think it's horrible," he said, adding, "Terrible, terrible, terrible."
Of the five polls, the best for Trump was WaPo's -19 and the worst was KFF's -29. Fox had -21, according to Enten's analysis.
He said, "You don't have to be a mathematical genius to know that when the net favorable rating of your bill is somewhere between -19 and -29 points that it's not a positive bill as viewed by the American public."
"The American public at this at this particular point hate, hate, hate the big beautiful bill," he said, using the term "big bad bill."
Enten also said he looked in the "history books" for a piece of likely-to-pass legislation that is as unpopular as this one, and said he couldn't find any similar examples.
