Breitbart editor whines he 'can't rip Parkland survivors a new one' - then calls them 'human shields for CNN'

Speaking on his daily radio show, Breitbart editor-in-chief Alex Marlow lamented his inability to go on a full-on attack against the survivors of the horrific shooting at a Parkland, Florida, high school, saying he is at a "huge disadvantage in any sort of debate like this," with teens who saw their classmates slaughtered by a fellow student.

According to Right Wing Watch, Marlow was speaking with Washington Times’ opinion editor Charlie Hurt who called the teens's campaign against assault weapons "sophomoric" before quickly adding he wasn't using the word "“as an insult.”

That allowed Marlow to commiserate with his guest that he feels his hands are tied when it comes to maligning the teens, while also attacking CNN for interviewing them.

“No, you’re trying to be polite and this is the debate we’re having right now, which is that most people calling on the show are whether or not we should be polite to these 17-year-old pawns, these human shields for CNN and Jeff Zucker’s agenda, or whether or not we should rip them a new one,” Marlow explained.

According to the Breitbart editor, one of his senior writers has no interest in pulling his punches when it came to the survivors of the shooting.

“My real-life godfather and senior writer for Breitbart News John Nolte, he’s fed up with it," Marlow admitted."He’s saying that ‘Hey, if these kids are going to go out there, I’m going to pop them on the behind if they have to,’ and it’s hard to debate with them.”
