Brian Robinson, a Republican who ran an unsuccessful campaign to represent New York City's 4th City Council district, raged against the entire city shortly after losing to incumbent Democrat Keith Powers by nearly 50 points.
Writing on Twitter, Robinson conceded defeat while also unleashing a bitter diatribe against the city that rejected his candidacy.
"NYC is irredeemable," he fumed. "Congratulations to [Keith Powers].The city has blindly chosen its own suicide. Jews, get out while you can. My family will be. To the Nazi machine machine [sic] that killed a great city: You are a grave disappointment."

According to Patch, Robinson ran what it described as a "mud-slinging" campaign in which he attacked Powers as a "coddler" of terrorist organization Hamas.
Many of Robinson's fellow New Yorkers did not share his assessment of their city and replied to his post by telling him they would be happy to see him leave.
"You’re a pathetic fear-mongering loser," wrote one. "The city won’t miss you if you move out."
"Don’t let the door kick you in the ass on the way out," wrote another. "Native NYer and I’ve lived overseas. NYC is and will always be amazing."
Another user simply replied to Robinson by posting a video of the cast from "Sesame Street" singing a song about the letter "L," a reference to the fact that Robinson had been dealt a massive loss.
