C-SPAN caller: Overturn Roe v. Wade because 'God will forgive' women who 'get raped'

A caller on C-SPAN's Washington Journal program Monday argued that the Supreme Court of the United States should overturn its decision legalizing abortion because God would forgive women who are raped.

Calling on the C-SPAN line for Democrats, a man named "Rocky" suggested to host John McArdle that President Donald Trump should appoint a Supreme Court justice who would overturn Roe v. Wade.

"I think it should be overturned, I think it's murder," the caller from Clear Water, Florida said. "I mean, you're killing innocent kids. And there's always people who can adopt, right?"

"I understand people get raped or something like that," Rocky continued. "They can still give their kid away, whether it be adopted. God will forgive. God is a forgiving God and he forgives people."
