Charles Vacca, killed by 9-year-old with an Uzi, had a passion for guns, cars, and his wife

According to his Facebook page, Charles Vacca's life was going well when he was killed in a horrific accident Monday at a shooting range in Arizona.

In February, Vacca, 39, indicated that he'd moved to Lake Havasu City, and the next month he wrote that he was happy that his new boss at the tourist attraction, Bullets and Burgers in White Hills, Arizona, had praised him.

"Just finished with the ccw class, muahahaha. And my boss told me that I am a really good shot, life getting better by the week," he wrote, referring to taking a class to obtain a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

On Monday, Vacca was helping a New Jersey family at the range, and video shows that he was helping their 9-year-old girl shoot an Uzi submachine gun. After helping her squeeze off one shot at a target, Vacca then adjusts the weapon to fully automatic before her next shot. Some media outlets say his final words are "All right, full auto." Others hear it as "All right, pull on it." The girl begins firing, but loses her grip and the weapon turns toward Vacca. He was shot in the head and pronounced dead after being airlifted to a hospital.

Vacca was a father and a military veteran. And his Facebook page shows that he had a strong interest in guns, cars, and in his wife. Here are a sample of some of the images he posted to his page in recent months.
