Stephen Miller reveals and weaponizes Charlie Kirk's 'last message' to him

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller took to Fox News Friday night to reveal, for the first time, one of Charlie Kirk’s final messages before being shot and killed Wednesday, a message that he then used to justify launching a sweeping crackdown on “radical left organizations.”

“Let me tell you something I've not shared with anybody, the last message that Charlie Kirk gave to me before he joined his creator in heaven,” Miller said, speaking with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.

“He said that we have to dismantle and take on the radical left organizations in this country that are fomenting violence. That was the last message that he sent me before that assassin stole him from all of us, and we are going to do that!”

Kirk was killed Wednesday while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University. The suspect, 22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson, was apprehended on Friday after being turned into law enforcement by his father and pastor.

An influential figure in right-wing circles, Kirk maintained close relationships with many top officials in the Trump administration, including with President Donald Trump himself. And, according to Miller, among his final messages was to Trump’s chief of staff, a message that allegedly included a call to action, and one Miller pledged that the Trump administration would make good on.

“Under President Trump's leadership, I don't care how – it could be a RICO charge, a conspiracy charge, insurrection – but we are going to do what it takes to dismantle the organizations and the entities that are fomenting riots, that are doxxing, that are trying to inspire terrorism, that are committing acts of violence; it has to stop!,” Miller said.

“My message is, to all of the domestic terrorists in this country spreading this evil hate, you want us to live in fear? We will not live in fear, but you will live in exile, because the power of law enforcement under President Trump's leadership will be used to find you, to take away your money, take away your power. And if you've broken the law, to take away your freedom.”

Miller’s heated rhetoric toward “radical left organizations” closely mirrors Trump’s own rhetoric following the shooting, who, just hours after Kirk’s assassination, blamed the attack on the “radical left,” and has gone on to repeat those claims to reporters in subsequent remarks.
