Christian YouTuber with Ashley Madison account kicked out of convention over violent threats

A Christian YouTuber who was exposed as having an account on the cheating website Ashley Madison was ejected from a conference in Seattle over the weekend after he allegedly threatened other attendees.

According to US Magazine, Sam Rader, 29, was ordered to leave the Seattle Vlogger Fair on Saturday after an altercation with other people who were attending the event.

Witnesses said that the Christian viral video star was kicked out because he made physical threats against other people at the conference.

“It was one person, and I didn’t make a threat,” Rader told Gawker.com. “What happened was there was a couple of fellow vloggers who had ridiculed our family on Twitter regarding the method we were mourning the loss, our miscarriage on Twitter.”

Earlier this summer, Rader and his wife Nia, 26, became viral video stars when Sam chose to announce Nia's pregnancy to her on video before she even knew that she was pregnant. Then, days later, they were forced to issue a second video when Nia's pregnancy ended unexpectedly.

The couple have gathered a following on YouTube for their lip-dubs of famous Disney songs and Christian lifestyle videos extolling the virtues of prayer, Bible reading and traditional marriage.

However, when the cheating website Ashley Madison was hacked and its users' information dumped online, Sam's name was found among the site's subscribers. He posted an apology video in which Nia affirmed her support of her husband, in spite of his attempt to stray.

“As you may have seen, my name has been associated with an Ashley Madison account,” Sam said in the video. “I’m here to clarify some of this with you guys, ‘cause I owe it to you: I did make the account. I made the account two years ago. This is an issue that is in our past. This was before I got on to YouTube.”

He says he never followed through on his intentions to have an affair. Nia affirmed her decision to stay with her husband, saying, "And I just want to add, too, that I have forgiven Sam,” she said. “This is in our past and it’s unfortunate that it’s being dug up right now. But our marriage is worth fighting for, and it always will be."

Sam Rader says that God, too, has forgiven him.

“I’ve sought forgiveness to God and he’s forgiven me,” he said. “So I’ve been completely cleansed of this sin.”
