Clinton releases medical documents: Doc says she is 'normal and in excellent mental condition'

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton released a brace of medical documents Wednesday in response to questions about her health following a pneumonia diagnosis on Friday and an incident of light-headedness on Sunday during a ceremony honoring those who lost their lives during the terror attacks of Sep. 11, 2001.

ABC News reported that Clinton's personal physician Lisa Bardack, M.D. said that a medical examination performed on Wednesday at Clinton's home found the candidate “was normal and she is in excellent mental condition."

Bardack said that with regards to pneumonia, Clinton is “recovering well with antibiotics and rest” and that “she continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States."

Today's statement said that Clinton's lab work was within normal limits, her blood pressure tested at 100/70 and her mammogram and breast exam results were normal.

Clinton is set to return to the campaign trail on Thursday.
