CNN host schools Kellyanne Conway over ‘ignored’ Clinton accusers: ‘They got tons of air time’ in the 90s

CNN's normally complacent Wolf Blitzer pulled GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's campaign manager up short Monday afternoon after she complained that the women who accused former President Bill Clinton of assault in the late 90's have never had their stories told.

Appearing on The Situation Room, Kellyanne Conway was allowed by the CNN host to filibuster the conversation as she jumped from talking point to talking point in an attempt to to make the case that the faltering Trump campaign is bouncing back strongly.

Seizing the opportunity when Conway paused to take a breath, Blitzer brought up the multitude of women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexual abuse since the release of the Access Hollywood tape where he bragged about grabbing women against their will.

"Why do you believe that voters should believe Bill Clinton's accusers, there are several of them, but not Donald Trump's accusers," the CNN host asked.

Speaking of Clinton's accusers, Conway claimed, "People should be allowed to asses them and Hillary Clinton was not forced to answer that question that was posed to her in that debate last week."

"These woman got nearly no air time compared to the air time that was given on CNN and other places, Wolf, to the accusers of Donald Trump. It's simply unfair and unbalanced," Conway asserted.

Blitzer then pulled her up with a history lesson.

"Let me just point out," Blitzer said as Conway attempted to talk over him. "I was CNN's Senior White House Correspondent in 1998, 1999, 2000, when these women, including of course Monica Lewinsky, got tons and tons and tons of air time. You remember those days, I remember those days."

"We all remember those days, we went through all of those cases, these women who have come forward," he lectured her. "We gave them a lot of reporting time."
