On Thursday, CNN's Van Jones said that he can no longer find common ground with evangelical Christians like Pat Robertson.
The televangelist put money before the life of missing Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi. “We’ve got an arms deal that everybody wanted a piece of…it’ll be a lot of jobs, a lot of money come to our coffers. It’s not something you want to blow up willy-nilly,” Robertson said.
While on a panel with CNN's Erica Hill, Jones said that Robertson was preaching about a reverse Jesus.
"That's not how a minister should be talking about this. That's literally the reverse of the gospels and teaching of Jesus Christ. To put literally material considerations over the dignity of a human soul is against Christianity," Jones said.
