Colorado man builds a bigger and better 'F**k Nazis' sign after his first one is stolen from yard

After his first anti-Nazi sign was stolen, an undeterred Greeley, Colorado man decided to rebuild a larger and stronger version of the controversial yard ornament.

As the Greeley Tribune reported, the "F**k Nazis" sign in Joseph Ruibal's yard garnered complaint calls to media and law enforcement, ultimately resulting in it being stolen.

Rubial and his son Preston "said they'd never received complaints about the sign, despite it being up for months." They claimed that the day after a December 13 Tribune article about it was published, the sign went missing.

Rubial's son created both signs, but the Vietnam veteran said he stands behind the message.

Preston, a high school student, told the Tribune he created the sign after the violent "Unite the Right" protest in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Greeley's police chief said that the Rubials' sign is protected by the First Amendment, and because "there is no homeowners association in the area," he cannot be forced to remove it.

"The day I take the sign down is the day I take the American flag down," Rubial said.
