Democrats should be Rocky Mountain high — but the reaction to the CO ruling is a downer

OK, I’ve got something I really, really need to get off my chest, before settling into the holiday weekend. (Language alert: Unlike many in my damn party, I am breathing fire, and not pulling punches.)

I have been absolutely shocked and disappointed by the reaction to the recent Colorado Supreme Court ruling that removes the traitor, Donald J. Trump, from the ballot in the state.

I have bit my tongue, when people said that “the court overstepped.”

I have swallowed hard, and said nothing when others have opined, “(they) agreed with the decision,” but still wish the court hadn’t ruled this way, because “it will only help Trump.”

I have turned red with anger when still others have said, “Well, they were right to do this, but all this really needs to be decided at the voting booth.”

All of these people I just cited are either Democrats, or folks who lean to the Left.

Are we really going to do this, people???

Because if we are, I’m out.

I am so sick and f*cking tired of the self-loathing in the Democratic Party I could spit. Either you believe Trump attacked our country, or you don’t.

Either you believe Trump shook down election officials, threatened poll workers, had a war room at the Willard Hotel, called for a violent riot, did nothing while our Capitol was attacked, or you don’t.

Either you believe that if, God forbid, the man gets in power again our Democracy is over, or you don’t.

Either you believe Trump is a clear and present danger to the United States of America, or you don’t.

Either you believe the man should be in jail, and not on some ballot, or you don’t.

Nearly three years after the attack on our country, a court has FINALLY done something substantive and right to keep America safe, and Democrats — DEMOCRATS — are running for cover.

Good grief, grow a pair, liberals.

I was just reading an editorial today from a “liberal” Yale law professor in The New York Times that was so shallow, so mealymouthed, and so besides the point, I wanted to send a copy back to him to see if he could swallow it whole, so the rest of us don’t have to try to.

I’ll take it Samuel Moyn somehow penned this nuclear-powered drivel headlined, The Supreme Court Should Overturn the Colorado Ruling Unanimously with something resembling a straight face.

I mean, ho-ly-shit.

And good God, I am getting sick and tired of all these pompous, duplicitous, self-important assholes who sit around and tie themselves in knots at all these Ivy League schools.

By turning around this nonsense from the cocoon of his “elite” office, Moyn proved to everybody just how poorly he is reading the situation in this country.

THIS is how he ended his rot:

“The truth is that this country has to be allowed to save itself. The Supreme Court must act, but only to place the burden on Mr. Trump’s political opponents to make their case in the political arena.”

We did that already in 2020, you complete and stupid moron, and look how it turned out!

Trump has absolutely no regard for the election process and the laws that are supposed to safeguard our elections. He has absolutely no intent to honor any election result that has him on the losing end, and will do everything he can to overturn a result he doesn't like through force.

Thank God, President Biden isn’t falling at the feet of all this bullshit. When asked during a trip to Milwaukee Wednesday what he thought about the Colorado ruling he said this:

“Whether the 14th Amendment applies or not, we’ll let the court make that decision. But he certainly supported an insurrection. There’s no question about it. None. Zero. And he seems to be doubling down on it.”

“Seems to be doubling down on it …”

Correct again, Mr. President, because we just learned there are tapes in which the traitor is heard pressuring two Republican members of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers in Michigan not to sign the certification of the 2020 presidential election.

"We've got to fight for our country," Trump is heard saying. "We can't let these people take our country away from us."

This is the President of the United States using the enormous power of his office to shake down citizens of this country to do his bidding, or else …

The son of a bitch, was a one-man crime spree after getting his fat butt kicked by Joe Biden by more than seven million votes on November 3, 2020.

Hard telling how many more tapes are out there, but we know for sure he pulled this shit in Georgia and now Michigan. There is evidence he tried it in at least five other battleground states.

He is an enemy of America. How hard is this to see???

That I actually have to sit here and explain this to some Democrats truly makes me sick.

The Colorado Supreme Court did exactly what we would expect them to do: Uphold the law and by doing so, protect its citizens.

And this is the thanks they are getting.

Merry Christmas, Liberals. Hope you find some courage in your stockings. Maybe then I’ll work on my language.
