Conservative reporter slams Fox News for using Pizzagate conspiracy theorist to attack Google for ‘snubbing’ Easter

In an article about Google "snubbing" Christians with no Easter doodle for the 18th year in a row, Fox News cited two alt-right conspiracy theorists — one of whom was involved in promoting the "Pizzagate" theory that led to a man opening fire inside a Washington, D.C. pizzeria.

"For the 18th year in a row, Google has no doodle to celebrate Easter, and Christians are angry on this holy day," the article's headline reads, before immediately citing InfoWars' editor-at-large Paul Joseph Watson and Pizzagate conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec.

"So Google has a doodle for every obscure ‘woke’ person/event imaginable, but nothing for Easter?" the article reads, quoting Watson's tweet.

"Happy Easter to everyone except Google today," Posobiec's tweet, which features a screenshot of the normal Google screen lacking an Easter doodle, reads.

The article's headline cites "Christians" as the source of their information, but conservative journalist Stephen Gutowski noted on Twitter that "Christians" should be replaced with "'openly alt-right conspiracy theorists' since they quote two of them."

"What a mess," the Washington Free Beacon reporter added.
