Political commentator and comedian D.L. Hughley slammed President Donald Trump during a Wednesday appearance on MSNBC's "Deadline: White House.
Host Nicole Wallace noted the latest reports that White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson prescribed a "large supply of Percocet" to a White House staffer.
"He has wife beaters, he had people that abused women on his staff, why not a drug dealer?" Hughley asked. "I mean, like literally."
"The serious part of your point is they don't vet anyone," Wallace interjected.
"Here's the serious part of my point," Hughley continued. "Two weeks ago we had a president saying we will -- we should, put drug dealers to death."
"It's a good thing he didn't, because he'd be short a doctor," he suggested. "It's ridiculous."
"If you told Donald Trump his lawn looked nice, he would make you Secretary of the Interior," Hughley predicted. "It's ridiculous that we're running a country like it is -- like it's 'The Apprentice.' He doesn't vet anybody."
"That's how he's doing it," Wallace agreed.
"I watched him build a temporary monument to the people, to the victims of the opioid crisis," Hughley noted. "You know what black people, what people on crack, got build for them? Prisons."
Hughley also criticized President Trump for allegedly not practicing safe sex.
"I watched Stormy Daniels say the President of the United States had unprotected sex with her," Hughley noted. "If you're a 60-year-old man and you don't care about gonorrhea, how can you worry about North Korea?"
"That's the most disturbing part of that story? Not getting spanked by the magazine?" Wallace asked.
"You're 60 years old and you're playing craps with your sexual organs?" Hughley replied. "That's a mistake young football players make!"
