DC cops busted on video mocking 'gay' burglary victim while dancing in his home

Two D.C. Metropolitan Police Department officers have been suspended after a video camera caught them calling a burglary victim "gay," while dancing at the scene of the crime.

According to 4NBNC New York, video surveillance cameras caught a man breaking into the home of Clarence Williams on Aug. 4, while he was out of town. Police responded due to a burglar alarm after the suspect escaped and, finding no one home, left only to return eight hours later after neighbors called.

After entering the townhouse that was torn apart, the officers were caught on video surveying the damage before passing judgement on the victim.

“Armani, Dolce and Gabbana — he’s probably gay,” one officer stated. Moments latter the other officer began dancing in the destroyed room.

Williams was stunned at what he heard and what he saw.

"I was appalled. I was frantic because I was out of the country," he explained. "They made a comment to my neighbor, saying, 'Well what do you expect. You live in Southeast.'"

As for what went on inside his home, Williams was disgusted, remarking, "We've got police out here, dancing in my home and acting as if this is a joke and this is serious. This is my life."

According to a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Department, the two officers have been placed on "non-contact status for misconduct," while Internal Affairs investigates.

"Their behavior is not representative of the 'we are here to help' environment we work tirelessly to uphold on a daily basis for residents and visitors of D.C. We remain committed to providing positive interactions with all and hold the trust of the community in high regards," the spokesperson said.
