DeRay McKesson tells Fox's Judge Jeanine to 'stop lying' about charges he 'directed BLM violence'

"America's loudest legal mind," Judge Jeanine Pirro, took to Fox & Friends on Friday to defame anti-racist activist DeRay McKesson for "directing violence" at protests in the wake of the police-involved death of Alton Sterling last year.

Pirro's ire was drawn after a federal judge dismissed a Baton Rouge police officer's lawsuit against McKesson and Black Lives Matter as a whole, stating that McKesson was exercising protected free speech and BLM, as a social movement, cannot be sued.

"DeRay McKesson, the organizer, was directing people, directing the violence," Pirro said on Fox & Friends.

She went on to suggest that the civil suit against McKesson was thrown out because U.S. District Judge Brian Jackson, the judge who presided over the suit, was appointed by former President Barack Obama.

On Twitter, McKesson responded in kind.

"I was found not guilty & I didn't direct any violence," he wrote. "In fact, I was protesting the violence of the police. Stop lying."
