'Do you think he's a creep?: Reporters hammer Sanders for refusing to explain if Trump still backs Moore

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders ducked questions and revealed as little as possible about the White House's position on embattled ex-Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore and his candidacy for the U.S. Senate.

Sanders refused to say whether or not President Donald Trump believes Moore's denials or the women who accuse the former judge of molesting, harassing and attempting to rape them when they were teens.

She did say that the president agrees with the Republican National Committee's decision to pull funding from Moore's campaign, but said, "The president feels it's up to the people of Alabama to make that decision and I don't have anything further to add on that front."

Reporters continued to pepper her with questions, however, including CNN's Jim Acosta, who asked, "Do you think [Roy Moore] is a creep?"

"Do I?" Sanders asked. "Look, I don't know Roy Moore, I haven't met him in person, so I wouldn't be able to respond to that."

The press corps wasn't satisfied, however, asking whether Trump believes that Moore is qualified to serve in the Senate, but again, she said that "the people of Alabama" will have to decide that.
