Trump appears at iconic Cuban restaurant where supporters awaited him after arraignment: reports

Donald Trump supporters gathered at an iconic Cuban restaurant Tuesday hoping to catch a glimpse of the former president who was expected appear for an interview with Alex Ataloa on YouTube , The Miami Herald reports.
CNN confirmed Trump’s arrival at Versailles restaurant on Southwest Eighth Street in Miami after his appearance in federal court for his arraignment on a 37-count indictment alleging he improperly handled classified documents.
The former president pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Otaola is a staunch Trump supporter and social media influencer who is running for mayor of Miami-Dade County.
Otaola was expected to interview Trump for his online “Hola Ota-Ola!” show on Tuesday, The Herald reports.
“What’s happening here is a political prosecution of this candidate for presidency next year,” Otaola said Monday during his Spanish-language broadcast.
Trump’s popularity has surged in Miami-Dade County, according to the report, which notes that Trump lost the county by 29 points to Hillary Clinton in 2016 but lost by just seven points to Biden in 2020.
“In this country exists a system of justice that is not justice. If you have the last name Clinton or Biden, you have a system of justice. If you have the last name Trump, it’s another system of justice,” Trump supporter Enrique Canton said in Spanish, according to the report.
