A Florida man has been arrested after police said he threatened former president and current presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, as well as vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance and their families.
Michael Wiseman was arrested Friday on charges of written threats to kill, police in Jupiter, Florida, wrote in a news release.
Investigators found he posted threats on social media against Trump and Vance, as well as their families, said police.
"Threats were also made concerning bodily harm to members of the Trump and Vance families," police said in the release.

Officers received multiple tips alerting them of the threatening posts, including from residents who expressed concern in person.
The U.S. Secret Service and the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office helped probe the case, and local police took Wiseman into custody without incident.
The arrest comes less than a week after a gunman armed with an AR-15 fired at Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, wounding the former president and killing a rallygoer.
It also comes after a masked man armed with an AK-47 and a full magazine of ammunition was arrested blocks away from the Republican National Convention on Monday night.
