Trump got vaccinated while still president — but just didn’t tell anyone: report

President Donald Trump continued his refusal to model good behavior during the coronavirus pandemic during his final month in office, according to a new report.

When the coronavirus vaccines first became available in December, public officials scrambled to publicly reassure Americans about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines. Across the globe, political leaders were publicly vaccinated to build confidence in the vaccines.

But Trump, who contracted coronavirus after refusing to wear a mask, did not participate in such an event, unlike Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Now, Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times correspondent Maggie Haberman is reporting that Trump received the vaccine while still in office, but did not do so on television nor announce his decision.

"Trump yesterday, at CPAC, said for the first time that 'everyone' should get the coronavirus vaccine developed while he was in office. An adviser tells me both Trump and Melania Trump got vaccinated at the White House in January," Haberman reported.

Unlike Trump, Mike Pence was publicly vaccinated like many other world leaders.
