Ellen Page shames anti-gay pastor: I'll take 'a girl's arms' instead of your God's arms

Actress Ellen Page has fired back at a pastor who wrote her after she recently came out as a lesbian.

At a LGBT youth conference in Las Vegas in February, Page had announced that she was there "because I am gay... ... And because maybe I can make a difference."

"My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered and my relationships suffered," she said at the time. "And I'm standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of all that pain."

In a message posted to Twitter over the weekend, Page revealed that a pastor had written a letter condemning her sexuality.

"2 da Pastor who wrote me-Being gay isn't a belief," she wrote. "My soul isnt struggling& I don't want arms of Heavenly Father around me.A girls arms? Yes."
