'Fact check this': Katie Britt buried for posting about 'real' consequence of Biden policy

Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) isn't staying silent, doubling down on her efforts to blame Joe Biden for alleged consequences of his policies on the border.

Britt was recently embroiled in scandal after her GOP State of the Union response was found to have been false or misleading because parts of it appeared to blame Joe Biden for injustices that occurred in Mexico many years ago. Days later, she sent out a self-pitying fundraising plea in which she declared her heart was broken.

While Britt did do some right-wing news appearances after the State of the Union response video went viral, her social media has remained sparse, with only a few shares and links to those aforementioned news hits.

On Friday, however, Britt raised the same issue for which she was put in the hot seat.

"These are the stories the media doesn’t want to tell," she wrote. "They’re the real consequences of President Biden’s willful border policies."

She then said Biden "could stop abusing his parole authority today if he wanted to."

"Instead, he continues to put American families in harm’s way," Britt added.

Britt was sharing a post from a Fox News reporter, who suggested a "Haitian man arrested for raping a 15 y/o disabled girl at a migrant hotel in Massachusetts Wednesday night came to the U.S. via the Biden admin’s parole program for Haitians, which allowed him to fly into JFK airport in NYC direct from Haiti in June 2023 w/ a 2 year parole grant."

The comments weren't positive.

@ChuckThrock wrote, "Everyone needs to fact check this because you have unrepentantly disqualified yourself as a credible source of information. Especially, but not exclusively, on anything having to do with immigration issues."

@ArtCandee then added, "You tried blaming something that happened under Bush on Biden. You found out."

@StrictlyChristo said, "Nothing you say or tweet will ever watch the stench off that State of the Union response from you. You are permanently tainted and will always be reviled by every sensible American."

@BRun13 also said, "Media leaves out a lot of church leaders molesting children. Have you looked into that at all? I’m assuming you have, you know. For the children."
