'Feminist' and Hillary supporter Larry Flynt admits he 'probably' pays women less than men

While Hustler magazine creator Larry Flynt argued on Wednesday that he is a feminist who "worships" women, he had to concede to PoliticKing host Larry King that his devotion does not extend to the workplace.

"Do you treat them equally?" King asked. "Are your female employees paid at the same rate as your male employees?"

"Probably not," Flynt said after an uncharacteristically long pause. "And that's something that needs to be corrected."

"You can correct it with a whisp of the pen," King responded.

Flynt said that doing so involves a "huge disparity" because his publishing company has around 1,500 employees.

"We're talking millions of dollars," he said. "Am I running from that responsibility? No, and I think it should be equal pay for women doing the same job as men."

King continued to press, telling Flynt, "You're against hypocrisy, so you have to do it at your place if you want [another employer] to do it at his place."

Flynt demurred again, saying he wanted "uniformity" in how equal pay guidelines would be applied.

"I'm not trying to be a hypocrite and say, 'Wait 'til next year or wait 'til two years from now," he insisted. "I'm ready as soon as the government passes a law and steps in with guidelines, I'm all for it.

Flynt also said he was backing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential campaign, arguing that it was important to have a "moderate liberal" as president in part because Congress had shrugged off its responsibilities.

"We've had a right-leaning Supreme Court for the last half century," he explained. "And those 5-4 decisions by the Supreme Court are very bad. The Supreme Court has emerged as a new legislative body because they make the decisions that we live by, not Congress."
