Fox News host explodes on her colleague: Women supporting other women is ‘incredibly oppressive!’

Fox News host Kennedy on Thursday lashed out at her colleague Leslie Marshall for saying that she would like to see a woman become president.

"I'm a woman and I voted for Hillary Clinton. I didn't vote for her because she is a woman," Marshall said on Fox News' "Outnumbered."

"For over 200 years, this country has been run by men and we want our turn. Women want our turn. We feel that we deserve that in as the majority of the population," Marshall added.

"I want to push back on that," Kennedy shouted, "because it is so incredibly oppressive for people to say you have to vote a certain way with a group of people who sit in this basket -- because you belong with them. You cannot think for yourself. You are not an individual."

"That's not what I'm saying," Marshall tried to interject.

"That is absolutely the subtext," Kennedy continued," when people talk simply about race and gender and it's offensive because you're looking at people based on their race, based on their gender, saying you do not have the rational capacity to make your own decisions."

Fox News host Melissa Francis ended up coming to Marshall's defense. "Were you saying that you were going to vote for Hillary Clinton, anyway -- that it was icing on the cake? I think that's all she was saying."
