Fox pundit: Same-sex marriage means 'anything goes,' including 'man-dog' unions

Fox News contributor Todd Starnes appeared on the Daystar program Joni in August and said that same-sex marriage rights in the U.S. will create an "anything goes" definition of marriage that will lead to people being able to legally marry animals.

Right Wing Watch reported that Starnes was responding to panelist Rachel Lamb's question about how if people who make wedding cakes are forced to bake cakes for same-sex weddings, then, "at what point is the line drawn as far as what is 'discrimination?' Is it discrimination if they wanted to make a cake for, you know, them and their dog? They're going to get married to their dog? Is that something that's going to hold up? At what point do we say, 'Okay, you know, this is not okay? Enough is enough.'"

"Because you're blurring the lines," said Joni Lamb, the show's host. "Because now marriage isn't being clearly defined."

"And when you think about it, though," Starnes said, "when you do redefine marriage, that means anything goes. You're no longer allowed to say, well, you can't marry. Well, who are we to say who can't marry if we've already redefined it. So, now, it really is anything goes."
