GOP are 'making no effort to find truth' in House and are 'failing their Constitutional responsibilities': Ex-CIA director
MSNBC senior national security and intelligence analyst John Brennan.

John Brennan, ex-CIA director under President Obama, thrashed House Republicans today in a tweet regarding their performance on the House Oversight Committee.
"Committee Republicans are making no effort to find truth," he tweeted Wednesday afternoon. "They are failing their Constitutional responsibilities by covering up the corruption of a sitting president."
Brennan was watching Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen's testimony to Congress as he made his feelings known online, and he didn't hold back in his condemnation of one party in particular.
"What is happening to the soul & integrity of the once storied Republican Party?" he wondered in the same tweet.
Brennan has long been critical of the GOP's seeming compliance to the Trump line in the face of serious allegations against the president. And he is especially worried about Trump himself in the oval office.
“It’s very, very worrisome, because [Trump] is in the Oval Office, he’s the incumbent right now,” he warned in January. “And we all should be very worried about his lack of stability.”
